Prior to the start, if a windsurfer is below the starting line on starboard and there is a windsurfer to windward of her, is she allowed to luff to a course to cross the starting line, even if the windward board is required to alter course?


Reply Details

The shortest course for the leeward board is to luff and start. The leeward board has not broken RRS B17.
