2025 International Hansa Class World & International Championships

If equipment breaks in the first race of a day, is it permitted to replace on the water for the second race and request formal permission at the end of the day ashore? If no, could it make a difference if I look for an official international measurement boat on the water and ask for permission?

Authorisation of the Technical Committee is required under Sailing Instruction 20.3 and this may be sought after racing.  Members of the Technical Committee may be on the water during racing and should be advised if practicable.
