Protest Submitted

Bouy room at the Top Mark, 1st lap race 3 of day 3

We were sailing on the Port Tack layline overlapped with 3280 to leeward. We were to windward.  We let them know we had overlap very early and continually at approximately 10 boat lengths and  right up until 3 boatlengths and then kept hailing.  

3280 luffed us up and our jib hit their sidestay and skinned the crew.  We tried to not hit the mark or them, but my crew touched the mark with his back while crouching. 

We hailed protest twice.
