Protest Submitted

Both boats came off the startline on starboard tack with 3050 to windward and 3016 to leeward. 2 minutes and 10 seconds after the start, 3016 tacks onto port and fails to keep clear of 3050 who is still on starboard and is forced to avoid by bearing away and crossing 3016's stern. There was no contact between the boats. If 3050's trajectory was not altered, there would have been impact on 3016's gunwale in line with the mast. 3050 called 'protest' yet 3016 undertook no penalty turns.
