Facts Found | Course Area Bravo during race 1, 2, 3 of the Optimist division. The Support Person for Optimist 1914 was Mr John Harris. Prior to race 2 the Support Person, the driver of the Support Boat for Optimist 1914, was not wearing a PFD and was not wearing a kill cord. The Support Person was warned by the Jury about the requirement of the rules to wear a PFD and kill cord. The Support Person initially ignored the warning on the water. The Support Person then attached the kill cord. Following race 4 the Jury notified the Support Person that a protest would be lodged. The Support Person then put the PFD on.
