RC boat dispatched to replace mark by displaying M and holding position.

Boat mistakenly displayed N instead of M for a short time.

Roundings were not taken

558 was leading at the mark and thought that the race had been abandoned and heading back to the start.

1756 thought the flag signaled abandonment and went back to the start and then realised mistake and lost 30 positions.

997 thought it was abandoned and only realised when returned to the start.

1769 was coming second when believed the race was abandoned and returned to the start.

1111 thought the race was abandoned.

946 was coming second and returned to the start 

The positions of 1449, 558, 1756, 997, 1769, 1090, 1111 and 946 were made worse by the failure of the RC to display the correct signal at the missing mark and through no fault of their own. 

Redress granted. The positions of the boats are to be scored
