  3. AUS 1276 was on port on a collision course with AUS 1768

  4. Both boats altered course attempting to avoid contact

  5. AUS 1276 collided with AUS 1768 who was holed below the waterline

  6. AUS 1276 did not finish her race and was scored as DNF

  7. Repair attempted to AUS 1768 using duct tape was unsuccessful

  8. AUS 1768 took part in the race but took considerable water and suffered excessive bailing 

  9. AUS 1768 finished 28th
