Facts Found | - 1771 on port tack was involved in an incident with 1458 0n starboard. Contact was made between the two boats resulting in serious damage to 1458.
- 1771 was found in the original hearing to have broken RRS 10 & RRS 14.
- The incident occurred during the starting sequence of race 4. Just after the lowering of the prepatory signal.
- 1771 a two turn penalty before the start of the race was postpone.

Conclusion | - As the contact resulted in serious damage 1771's penalty was to retire in accordance with RRS 44.1(b).
