Protest was found to be valid.

Serifa 2 was represented by Robert Case.

The race committee was represented by Maria Vasardani.

There were no conflicts raised.

1. Race 3 winter series 14 June 2026

2. Course 46 was shortened pursuant to Rule 32.2 to make the finishing line between BYS 5 and the committee boat.

3. Committee boat was stationed to the North (port side) BYS 5.

4. Serfia 2 crossed the finishing line in accordance with the Racing Rules of Saiing (see case 129).

5. Serfia 2 crossed the finishing line in front of Karma Kaze.

6. The race committee recorded Serifa 2 finishing time incorrectly. 

7. Serifa 2 is entitled to redress.

8. The redress granted is to adjust the finihsing time of Serfia 2 to 12:25:15.

Serifa 2 sailed the course correctly. The race committee recorded Serifa 2 finishing time incorrectly.

Serifa 2's recorded finishing time in Race 3 winter series 14 June 2026 was made significantly worse through no fault of her own by an improper action of the race committee. 

Redress is given to Serifa 2. Serifa 2's finish time shall be amended to 12:25:15. No other boat’s times shall change.
