The following updates are a change to provide the RO with the option to run two short races and one long race in a single day.
NOR 5 last sentence replaced with:
Racing will normally be back to back with a total of 8 races scheduled and a maximum of 3 races in any one day.
NOR 9 is replace with:
9. Scoring
- A maximum of 8 races to be sailed of which 3 races shall constitute a series.
- When 3 or fewer races are completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores.
- When 4 or 5 races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score.
- When 6 or more races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her two worst scores.
SI 9 is replaced with:
9.1 The target time for a race will be 90 minutes.
9.2 The time limit for the first boat to sail the course and finish is 120 minutes.
9.3 The finishing window is the time for boats to finish after the first boat sails the course and finishes. The finishing window will be 20 minutes.
9.4 Failure to meet the target time will not be grounds for redress. This changes Rule 62.1(a).
