The Jury would like to drawer competitors’ attention to two changes in the current racing rules effective 1st Jan 2025. 

  • RRS 14 and in particular 14(b) and 14(c) in that if reasonably possible, boats shall not cause contact between two other boats nor shall they cause contact between a boat and an object that should be avoided. 
  • At the time of lodging a request for hearing of a protest, RRS 60.3(a) when delivered, a protest shall be in writing and identify the protestor, the protestee, and the incident which the Jury interprets to include “Where, when and what” in relation to the incident.
