Shipping your WASZP

Contact the class to joinn a combined shipping container. They will be delivered to KA Sail and then the club and class will work together to get the boats to the club.

If you are shipping a single boat direct, w can recieve that at the club. Please let David White our Training Manager Training@sscbc.com.auknow the details of arrival and we can recieve it at the cllub, the address is in the NOR, mark it "Attention: David White" but we will work out what it is when it arrives.

Towing your WASZP.

You can unload on our hardstand but we don't have space for trailers at the club. Generally people take thier trailers to thier accomodation, but the can also be stored at out Chandlery / Sponsor the Wooden Boat Shop. Click here for details https://sscbc.com.au/at-sorrento/ . Parking will be tight right at the club, but there are lot's of nearby streets to park on for free with no time restrictions.

Arriving by Air.

The closest airport is MEL in Tullamarine. There is a Skybus service that runs very frequently to Southern Cross Station (Melbourne City) and less frequently to the Peninsula, here is the timetable https://www.skybus.com.au/timetables/

The public transport system is safe and generally pretty reliable. Trains run from Southern Cross to Frankston and you can catch a bus from there to the club.

Access to the Club.

The club is a private club with legal restrictions for members only, so all sailors and their support persons and travelling family and friends will be issued with honourary for the events.

If your coming quite early to train for the games we will be offering special sailing memberships to store your boat and enjoy the club facilities. Contact our Sailing Administrator Julia Mackinnon for details sailadmin@sscbc.com.au
