18. [NP] SAFETY REGULATIONS A boat that retires from a race or does not intend to continue racing shall advise the Race Committee via Channel 77 or, if reasonably practicable, pass close enough to a race committee vessel to signal its retirement, and advise the Regatta Office immediately on return to shore by signing a retirement declaration.
