Changes to the 2024/25 BYS Notice of Race

NOR 11.5 is changed to:

NOR 11.5 [NP] A boat that does not race because the majority of her crew are rostered duty on a race day and notifies the OOD in writing by the volunteer briefing shall be awarded DUTY score. The DUTY score points shall be calculated per RRS A9 (a).

NOR 11.8 is changed to:

NOR 11.8 A boat competing in a major event for that class (state, national, world, Youth Champs) may be awarded average points. Skippers must apply prior to the event in writing to the Race Committee c/o the Sailing Office. The average score points shall be calculated per RRS A9 (a).

Changes to the Race Program

Sat 08 February KBC TROPHY Race 5 - John Morgan Memorial Trophy: the warning signal time is corrected to 1000hrs.

Sat 19 April A/B EAST Easter Race 1 & Mon 21 April EAST Easter Race 2: the scoring shall be PH.

Aero Association visitors day is changed from Sat 4 January, to Sat 14 December
