DESCRIPTION OF INCIDENT: 1953 rounded top mark clear ahead of 1994. Bore away to hoist kite, 1994 went to windward of us. Kite went to top and went to point up to accelerate. Had to stop due to 1994, who then bore away into us. Hailed protest, they then proceeded to tell us to f**k off. Didnt spinn until they reached bottom mark, i.e. not ASAP. FACTS FOUND: 1.1953 + 1994 both rounded windward mark on starboard tack. 2. Both boats commenced to hoist spinnakers, 1953 sailed a lower course while hoisting and 1994 to windward kept clear. 3. 1953 completed hoist and altered course to windward. 1994 responded immediately and to the fullest of her ability. 4. 1953 curtailed luff to enable 1994 to continue keeping clear. 5. 1953 hailed protest.
