Upwind from the startline, boat 54375 tacks onto port tack. While attempting to cross us on port, we were on course for collision at the point where the side stay attaches (approx. a little bit from the middle of hull). Protested boat acknowledged our yells, but chose not to complete penatly.
Conclusion
Yacht 54375 infringed and accepted alternative penalty. Protest withdrawn.
